How much should I be feeding?

post-img1-4.jpg

Do you know how much you're ACTUALLY feeding?

Calculating your pet's daily caloric needs is no simple task and is highly dependent on many variables, such as activity level (working dog vs. couch potato), age, reproductive status (neutered vs. intact vs. pregnant) and whether your pet has any concurrent medical conditions.

Click here to find a easy-to-use calculator tool that will give you a general idea of how much you should be feeding your pet.  Please note that this calculation tool is only appropriate for adult, neutered/spayed, healthy dogs and cats. If you find that you are feeding more (or less) than the recommended amount, it's a good idea to talk to your vet BEFORE making any dramatic changes to the quantity or type of food you're feeding.

Don't forget to include your pets treats when determining how much you're feeding!! The calories from treats can REALLY add up!
